DESCRIPTION: Aircraft performance involves a variety of aircraft characteristics including lift, drag, weight and thrust. The purpose of this design project is to design, construct and test fly a radio controlled model aircraft that not only has high maneuverability and performance in the air, but also in water. Design constraints include the ability to maneuver in relatively strong winds, perform aerobatic maneuvers as described by the National Society of Radio Controlled Aerobatics (NSRCA), and have a thrust to weight ratio greater than 1.
