NSERC Industrial Research Fellow (1996 - 1998)

Dr. Seto worked in private industry (ISE Research Ltd., Pt. Coquitlam, Canada)for 6 years on research and development projects related to autonomous underwater vehicles. Then, Dr. Seto moved to Nova Scotia to work as a Defence Scientist for Defence R&D Canada - her current job. She joined the Dalhousie Department of Mechanical Engineering as an Adjunct Professor in 2005. Dr. Seto is registered in Nova Scotia as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).


Research Interests:

Dr. Seto's current areas of interest at Defence R&D Canada are in the areas of ship/submarine signatures, signature management systems, vehicle and tow dynamics (remote minehunting), hydrodynamics, and vibrations.
